Production Associate - 2nd Shift

These associates are responsible for producing quality products and meeting all company goals.

We are looking for 2nd shift: 3:15PM - 2:00AM. Monday through Friday. Saturdays are mandatory at this time, the shift will be between 6 - 8 hours depending on business needs. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour plus a .53 cent shift differential.This position involves repetitive movement and constant standing and moving for over 10 hours.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• The individual may be required to operate several pieces of equipment; including shrink and flow wrappers, candy cutters, twist wrappers, boxingand box taping equipment, scales, ect.
• Set up the line for production
• Ensuring proper quality standards are followed for all products; color, size, shape, labels are appropriate for the specific product, weight and gloss decoration, ect.
• Expected to work safely, and efficiently
• Work any assignment as directed by lead/supervisor
• Participate in on-going training to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Responsible to uphold and maintain the food safety and quality systems
• Monitor compliance of environmental regulations and provide guidance with compliance of regulatory audits.

Education or Experience

• High School Diploma or GED, REQUIRED
• Understanding of basic arithmetic, reading level to understand instructions, policies, and procedures.

Physical

• Lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing for extended periods, frequently repeated manual tasks.
