Description Leidos Defense Sector - Space Systems Division is seeking a talented & skilled 2nd shift Quality Engineer, to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions. Primary Responsibilities List daily duties and/or specific job responsibilities. The 2nd shift Quality Engineer will support the Dynetics Space Systems Division with development of space products and systems with primary responsibility for the manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing of the Universal Stage Adapter. Candidate will perform program quality planning for human spaceflight hardware, analyze program quality requirements, develop inspection/test procedures and process plans, finalize source inspection checklists, coordinate & review nonconformance documentation, and support root cause/corrective actions & Material Review Boards. Other key duties include reviewing AS9102 First Article Inspection documentation, working with DCMA and other government quality assurance agencies, collecting and reporting of Quality Metrics, and conducting supplier surveillance audits. Work is primarily second shift, Monday-Friday, however, some off-shift and weekend support may be required during critical manufacturing periods. Basic Qualifications
