The Business Administration program emphasizes preparation for decision making in a business environment. Perimeter College faculty members have practical experience in a variety of industries. By drawing upon this experience in the classroom, they provide students with real-world examples to complement business theories. |
Position Description |
Limited Term Instructors are full-time faculty hired on a semester to semester basis.
The position is renewable for a maximum of 3 semesters and is dependent on enrollment. The selected candidate will be responsible for:
* Providing 18 semester hours of instruction per semester
* Providing student support and advising
* Maintaining an average of 10 office hours per week
* Working effectively and professionally with colleague
* Teaching a mix of in-person and online classes |
Required Experience |
A minimum of a Master's degree required in the teaching discipline or a minimum of a Master's degree with at least 18 semester or 27 quarter graduate hours in relevant coursework (completed by the anticipated date of appointment). |

Preferred Qualifications/Experience |
Prior teaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level, desired. |
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
* Ability to teach Computer Information Systems at the collegiate level.
* Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods, relate to students and facilitate student learning.
* Effective communication skills needed.
* Excellent organizational and teaching skills.
* Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology and ability to teach online is required. |
