Work Schedule:



Hours vary and may include day, evening and weekend responsibilities. Courses are taught in a classroom setting and may include a lab component. Please indicate your availability in your cover letter.

Per Contact Hour

Less than a Masters: $1,069

Masters and above: $1,109

Job Summary:



Adjunct teaching faculty provide instruction aligned with the college's strategic goals and evaluate students' progress to facilitate achievement of their educational goals.



Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:



1. Bachelor's degree.
2. Proficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.
3. Two years' clinical experience in the professional discipline.
4. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent, in magnetic resonance.
5. MRI Certification and 1-2 years of MRI experience.



Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


One-year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program.

Essential Duties:



Deliver Instruction

1. Conduct assigned classes and/or labs

2. Prepare lessons

3. Provide course syllabus (which shall include grading standards, attendance policies, classroom behavioral expectations, course outline and contact information)

4. Verify student enrollment and submit grade sheets

If a lab is involved:

5. Prepare labs

6. Enforce lab safety procedures

Evaluate Student Progress

1. Keep accurate record of student performance

2. Provide students with timely feedback

Provide Student Assistance

1. Maintain office hours and voice-mail/e-mail communication

2. Refer students to student support services

3. Accommodate special needs students



Other Duties:
