Our Opening and Your Responsibilities Mettler Toledo is seeking to hire a Global Process Engineer for its Columbus, Ohio location responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of MES solutions across our global manufacturing sites. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain global MES standards and best practices to ensure consistent implementation across all manufacturing facilities. Collaborate with IT and operations teams to design and implement MES architecture that aligns with business objectives. Analyze current manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and recommend MES solutions that enhance productivity and quality. Lead MES project initiatives from conception through implementation, including requirements gathering, system configuration, and user training. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for MES applications, ensuring minimal disruption to production processes. Monitor and report on MES performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for enhancements. Other duties may be assigned. What You Need to Succeed Must have a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer Science or a similar education and at least 3 years of work experience in process engineering preferably within a manufacturing environment. Should have a flair for IT and its increasing complexity. Familiar with proactive leadership and teamwork with international teams and diverse cultures. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset. Experience with MES software and integration with ERP systems. Strong understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems and related technologies.
