1st Shift: Setup Operator II (4 Openings) - (Aerospace Filtration Div. - Triad Dr)

JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Independently set up and operate various manufacturing equipment that requires specialized skill or expertise. Read blueprints and follow instructions. Investigate quality problems and conflicts in routing, inspection instructions and blueprints.

* Maintain a safe workplace for self and fellow team members via compliance of safety policies and procedures.
* Produce product in timely manner while following all Quality system requirements
* Strong verbal and written communication.
* Ability to read and interpret blue prints.
* Capable of proficiency on all types of equipment and setup of equipment used in work cell within 60 days of hire
* Proficient in all types of equipment and setup of
* Proficient in all aspects of paperwork for the area within 30 days.
* Ability to train team members.
* Utilize Lean tools and be active particpant in Lean events and High Performance Teams.
* Participate in 5S activities per Manager request.
* Troubleshoot problems as they arise; Strong problem solving skills.
* Must be able to work and thrive in Team environment.
* Must be able to work overtime when required including weekends.
* Other assignments as assigned by Management.

MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:

* Citizenship: US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien
* Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
* Vision: 20/25 vision corrected or uncorrected
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing environment
* Communication: For safety and quality, must be able to read, write & understand English
* Mechanical Aptitude: Medium
* Strong Math skills - three digit addition and subtraction, multiple digit multiplication and division. Converting fractions to decimals. Ability to follow formulas for conversions (ex: SF to LF).
* Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
