Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $17-$23/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-2:30pm Calling CNC Operators! QPS Employment is currently looking for CNC Machine Operators on 1st or 2nd shift for a local machine shop in Fond du Lac. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up machines, taking parts off machines, performing quality checks, and much more! This is a great opportunity if you are looking to expand your knowledge base and grow as a worker. Entry-level and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply, with pay varying on experience from $17-$23 per hour. Apply today! Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assist with press operation as needed, learning how to operate and set up machines over time - Operate the tumbling machine to dry parts after washing - Sand and deburr parts - Load and unload parts from various CNC machines - Verify part quality - Move material after completion to warehouse or the next stage of production using pallet jack - Clean up of work area Machine Operator Requirements: - High school diploma - Ability to stand on feet for up to 10 hours per day - Lift 50lbs independently on a regular basis - Ability to push, pull, kneel, bend, twist, and stoop - Ability to walk regularly - High attention to detail - Knowledge or previous work experience with air powered hand tools - Strong math skills - Ability to communicate effectively with other team members, verbally and written - Blueprint reading experience not needed but a plus QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
