Job Description: Seeking Respiratory Therapy Supervisor! Full-time, Nights Baptist Health FloydSouthern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky areaThe Respiratory Therapy Supervisor has 24-hour accountability for respiratory care services provided inaccordance with organizational mission, vision, and values of BH Floyd. With limited supervision, this personis responsible for managing staff in the department, interviewing applicants, scheduling staff, daily assignmentand productivity management, quality metric tracking, charge auditing, coaching/counseling, and representingRespiratory Therapy interest on various hospital committees. This role collaborates with the Manager andDirector to ensure regulatory requirements are met, organizational policy/procedures are followed, safetystandards are maintained, and the department is tracking toward meeting organizational objectives andbudget. The Respiratory Therapy Supervisor will also perform patient care and engage in the treatment andprevention of cardiopulmonary disease, utilizing respiratory equipment and techniques as prescribed by aPhysician.Position/Opportunity Highlights: * Opportunity to work in a Regional, Non-Profit Hospital * Opportunity to work with a wide array of associates within the organization * Opportunity to work for an organization that promotes continued educationQualifications: Associate's degree in respiratory therapy Bachelor's or master's Degree in healthcare, management or business is preferred Indiana State Respiratory Care License required RRT required through NBRC BLS for Healthcare Provider from AHA, ARC, or AHSI required Advanced Credential (ACCS, SDS, CPFT, RPFT, NPS, AE-C, etc.) within six months to obtain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for Healthcare Provider from AHA, ARC, or AHSI within 6 months of hire. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hireMaster's degree in management, health care administration or business preferred Minimum 2 years critical and emergency care in an acute care hospital serving all age populations We offer competitive salaries and excellent benefits.
