Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit |
The Office of the Provost is the central administrative unit that supports all entities within the divisions of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Research & Engagement. The Office embraces shared governance and works in an open and transparent manner, fostering a collaborative environment where institutionally minded colleagues strive to advance each other's work. Position Summary |
The Administrative Support Associate will provide essential support to both the Faculty Senate and the Office of the Provost, dedicating 50% of their time to each. In the Office of the Provost, they will perform receptionist duties, manage communications, assist with calendar and event planning, and support Faculty Personnel Services and Academic Resources projects. For the Faculty Senate, they will organize meetings and events, manage budgets and committee rosters, update the website, and handle various administrative tasks. |

Preferred Qualifications |
- Associate's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
- One-two years relevant work experience, preferably in a higher education/university setting.
