Job Summary:

The Investment Planning and Control Analyst role assists in the capital expenditure and corporate controlling processes, including planning, reporting, budgeting/controlling, approvals and analysis for Americas. The analyst will work closely with US Accounting, WNS, South and North America Finance teams, business areas and the Project Execution team to deliver these goals. In addition, the analyst will provide presentation creation support to senior analysts for board meetings and the investment committee as well as provide ad hoc analysis.

Key Activities:



  • Support of the regional Annual Budget and Forecast Process, including preparation of analysis and presentations
  • Support the regional monthly Capex reporting in Lucanet and Cognos
  • Analysis of monthly capex spending (minor, GDE and Major Projects) to develop capex forecasts and continuously improve our capex forecast accuracy
  • Support the monthly Regional Investment Committee meeting process including consulting with business teams to prepare the monthly capex analysis, deep dives.
  • Responsible for Investment order creation and reprioritization in SAP
  • Responsible for Budget/FC reports in COGNOS (P&L, B/S and Capex)
  • Engage with management to create and update presentation packs for executive level committee meetings
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed, supporting the more senior members of the team
  • Position interfaces with: America's Finance/Accounting teams, Corporate Finance team, Business controllers, Project Execution, Business groups throughout the organization



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting
  • 1+ years' experience in Data Management, Excel, PowerPoint, finance knowledge, SAP, Cognos, and Lucanet a plus
