Supervisor, Quality Assurance

Join Chromalloy as a Quality Assurance Supervisor and lead our team to ensure top-notch product quality. As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you'll perform inspection duties and supervise a team to ensure quality assurance and inspection activities are maintained in a timely and efficient manner. You'll be responsible of assuring compliance with stablished quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate work assignments for all inspection operations
• Monitors quality inspection and Return to Service functions.
• Assists in the development and implementation of plans to improve quality.
• Provide support and leadership to Quality Engineering for effective process controls implementation.
• Review and manage document control and shop traveler documents.
• Maintain employee testing and certifications, ensuring everyone is up-to-date.
• Educate and train department employees on our quality program and cross-train them for versatility.
• Evaluate staff performance and recommend promotions as appropriate.
• Oversee and maintain safety and housekeeping standards in the department.
• Implement continuous improvement and lean principles in all activities.
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Systems Manual (QSM) and Company RSM and be aware of AS9110 quality requirements.
• Act as the Management Representative for AS/ISO Standard compliance.
• Promote and adhere to all company health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and exceptional customer service across departments.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years of experience in quality inspections, quality assurance
• Prior supervisory experience required; aerospace industry preferred.
• Experience with part 145/21 certification inspection preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques and equipment.
• Certified FAA Repairman eligible.
• Knowledge of the turbine engine repair processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skill, with a proficiency in problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced atmosphere.
