As a Senior Engineer in our Product Performance team based in Houston, you will lead projects that enhance the performance, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of our existing products and services, with a focus on Liner Hanger equipment. You will drive improvements based on supply chain dynamics, quality metrics, reliability, and portfolio management. Your expertise will guide design and manufacturing processes, ensuring reliability and manufacturability for ongoing and new projects. You will collaborate with AMO, Category Management, and Procurement Teams to optimize the sourcing of raw, intermediate, and finished goods for manufacturing. As Mechanical Engineer - Product Performance, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing project tasks using sound engineering principles, adhering to standards and product requirements.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentoring to developing personnel within the organization.
  • Developing test plans, analyze data from tests, draw conclusions, and create reports.
  • Documenting technical data generated by projects, consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
  • Leading organizational initiatives and present in internal and external technical reviews.
  • Communicating significant project issues or developments promptly and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Engineering Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in oilfield equipment
  • Liner Hanger or other completions equipment application or design.
  • Flexibility with global travelling as needed (<15%)
  • Experience in Engineering/Technology processes preferred.
