El Dorado Disposal, a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire a safety conscious Traffic Director to join our team in Placerville, CA! This position will also be working part of the time on our sorting line. The schedule will be Saturday-Tuesday, 7AM-5:30PM. Starting pay will be $21 per hour. The pay range for this job category is $20-$21.50/hour. Responsibilities Include: Spotting and helping to direct customers and work trucks to appropriate dump sites. Traffic management - moving signs and cones Trained in the Gatehouse on money handling and data entry. On the sorting line ensuring appropriate material is going into the baler. Cleaning equipment - sweeping/power washing General site cleanup as needed Friendly customer service Other laborer/MRF duties as needed Requirements: At least 2+ years of work experience, preferably in a labor type position. The ability to lift up to 75 pounds Experience operating equipment is a plus Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift Ability to stand throughout entire shift To be considered for any of our current openings you must complete an application at www.wasteconnections.com.
