Essential Functions and Competencies

  • Read and understand blueprints
  • Identify non-conformances based on inspection to customer requirements
  • Effectively communicate, both verbally and written *Handle multiple and changing priorities
  • Respond to written and verbal instructions
  • Obtain and renew certifications on assigned equipment and be willing to cross-train in other areas
  • Participate in a continuous improvement activities Qualifications
  • cross-trained in all mechanical inspection operations and/or is a specialist in one or more of the more involved processes
  • Is able to use a wide variety of mechanical inspection equipment
  • Can create and execute inspection plans
  • Has experience in surface plate layout and precision mechanical measuring tool use. Works with moderately complex processes and more difficult customer's expectations- able to use more independent judgment with some oversight by supervision
  • Serves as a mentor to lesser skilled employees *Determines acceptance or rejection of products based on requirements
  • Works with supervision on duties and tasks, selecting from written instructions and established procedures *Completes all required documents and maintains records that pertain to quality control
  • CMM programming experience Experience
  • Min 5 years working with inspection processes.
  • Proficient in the use of computers with a minimum of intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel.

Education:

4 years recent CMM experience. B&S preferred (PCDIMS) Education: High School Diploma or GED

Physical Location: Concord, CA - 4041

Work Schedule: M-Th 0530-1600

Full Time

Compensation Range: $32.00 to $41.57 USD

Export Control: This job position may include access to controlled information or technology covered under applicable U.S. export control laws. As such, employment for this job position may be contingent on either verification that an applicant falls under the definition of a "U.S. Person" (which includes U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, and those granted U.S. asylum or refugee status) or on the Company timely obtaining any necessary export license required under federal laws.
