We're seeking a Brand Manager to join our dynamic team at ACS and reshape the future of scientific connections, community, and advancement. As a key player in our new brand team, you'll lead initiatives to simplify offerings, increase value, and unify content across a wide range of stakeholders.

What you'll do:



  • Strategic Branding: Develop and execute comprehensive branding strategies to enhance our reputation and drive engagement.
  • Content Creation: Create compelling content that resonates with our diverse audience, inspires action and engages authentically across channels.
  • Community Building: Foster a strong sense of belonging across the scientific community, connecting global audiences and stakeholders for long-term engaging relationships
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams to inspire brand consistency across all channels, teams, and audiences so that ACS is appropriately recognized and promoted.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to measure brand performance, optimize strategies, and support decision making across the organization.

This role is based in our Washington, DC office. The Communications Division employees work a hybrid schedule, consisting of working onsite two days (Tue/Wed) per work week, as decided by functional area. The balance of the week is open to working remotely, though employees are always welcome onsite each day if they choose. A reasonable rate of compensation for this position is between $92,000 to $115,000 per year.

ACS currently provides the following benefits for this position: paid vacation leave, paid sick leave, paid holidays, health insurance, flexible spending account or health care savings account, dental insurance, life insurance, vision insurance, retirement benefits, short- and long-term disability, and 4-week work from anywhere; each benefit is subject to the terms of the applicable program. Additional benefits may apply based on skills, experience, and location.

Any actual offer of employment, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be made in the sole discretion of ACS. ACS reserves the right to amend or modify its employment benefits and compensation structure at any time.

Education
Bachelors of Business Administration (required)
Experience
5 - 10 years: 5-10 years of progressive marketing experience in either a client or agency setting, ideally with strategic planning, branding, and/or solutions marketing. While an interest in science is preferred, it is not required. (required)
