The Dean of Students Office is currently seeking an organized professional to join the awesome team in taking the University to the next level!

This position will help support and train users, provide support in the installation, operation, and maintenance of the software for space reservation used University wide. This includes working with multiple departments and student organizations in establishing and maintaining operational procedures. Will also include relations vendor to maintain service.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO:



  • Provide support university wide to administrative users of the reservation software. Includes training, onboarding, troubleshooting, and determining best practices for the departments that use the software to process reservations.
  • Provide support university wide to end/ everyday users of the reservation software. Includes training, onboarding, troubleshooting, and determining best practices for the registered student organizations, university departments, and other end users that request space use.
  • Coordinate with the University Registrar's office in assuring course optimization procedures are addressed. Maintain or establish processes to make sure that department managed spaces are abiding by established academic space reservation rules while optimizing space utilization for non-academic purposes.
  • Maintain the virtual interface so that all administrative departments are represented and that it is user friendly for the everyday (virtual) users. Create training plans for administrative and end users of the software. Update as needed.
  • Manage platform services and software affiliated with reservation software. This includes but is not limited to 7-Points Solutions (for set-ups), Social Tables (for room diagramming, Visix (for digital signage), and Anthology (for integration with student involvement platform).
  • Serve as the primary contact with software vendor for troubleshooting, software updates, implementation, contract review and other issues. Communicate contractual issues to the director. Manage and communicate updates as needed.
  • Establish a report system to assure that Police, Government Relations, and other departments receive timely detailed information of campus activity. Also establish reports for room and resource utilization, customer statistics, and sales.
  • Serve as a member of the Student Center Leadership team. Attend leadership meetings and other assigned meetings as determined by the director.

Qualifications :

Minimum Hiring Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

Preferred Hiring Qualifications:

Experience using an event management software. (EMS, or College Net or other).

Experience in training others
