Description

Medica's Account Manager is responsible for building relationships with new clients while maintaining existing client base, coaching clients on all aspects of Medica's programs/products and client implementation. This role will also be responsible for the effective and timely resolution of service issues. This is an opportunity that would allow you to work a hybrid of working from home, in office as well as community facing.

Qualifications:



  • Complete working knowledge and skill with ability to be fully proficient in professional field
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field, plus 5+ years of work experience beyond degree
  • Large ground - self funded, health plan products, medical benefits, carrier industry experience required


Skills and Abilities:



  • Ability and willingness to learn the HealthRules platform and processes in addition to other Medica platforms as needed
  • Account implementation experience preferred
  • Experience with or an understanding of insurance brokerage preferred
  • SalesForce experience preferred
  • Advanced skills in MS Word and Excel
  • Presentation experience
  • Project management skills
  • Experienced written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Decision-making and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a self-directed manner
  • Ability to work with a variety of management levels
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and in a fluctuating environment


License:



  • MN Life/Health License or ability to obtain within 90-days of employment required


This position is a Hub role, which requires an employee to occasionally come onsite to the Minnetonka office for applicable heads-up work. Frequency is determined by business need as decided by leadership.

The full salary range for this position is $67,100 - $115,100. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
