Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $56,600 - Midpoint: $73,600 (Salaried E9)

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm; occasional nights and weekends required.

Job Summary: The Crimson Scholars Program Manager oversees the daily administration of the Crimson Scholars program in First Year Experience. Develops and implements curriculum for the Crimson Scholars program. Manages mentor team selection. Provides guidance, trains, and/or may oversee Crimson Scholars staff, student employees, and volunteers.

Additional Department Summary: Plans, develops, and executes targeted student support programs. Supports a broad commitment to first-year student success to focus on serving special populations through targeted retention programs (e.g. limited-income and first-generation students), this position supports a broad commitment to first-year student success. Implements Crimson Scholars in First-Gen+ Programs within UA First to support the success of limited-income students. Manages provided program budgets and providing supervision for student and professional staff. Completes required training related to UA policies/procedures and laws/regulations that create a more hospitable and respectful workplace and safer work environment. Has accountability for financial reporting and responsibility for following and enforcing internal processes and controls as outlined in UA policies and procedures.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of experience; OR master's degree and two (2) years of experience.

Skills and Knowledge: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong case management skills. Strong program development and assessment skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks/programs. Ability to form strong relationships with both students and other professional staff members.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Social Work, or Counseling. Experience with program development experience. Experience with first year experience programs or experience working with under served students in higher education. Case management experience. Supervisory experience (student supervision acceptable). Experience in student recruitment, program curriculum development, professional supervision, and assessment.
