23761BR Wellness Program Specialist I Gatehouse Administration Center Description Performs a variety of professional duties required to develop the communications and delivery of wellness programming for Fairfax County Public Schools' employees; and ensures smooth program operations for wellness programming and employee health initiatives. Qualifications Required Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a health or wellness-related field. One (1) year of experience in the health or wellness field. Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience. Knowledge of practices, procedures, and policies of the wellness function. Effective organizational skills; ability to multi-task. Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation and analysis. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to exercise tact, judgment, and initiative. Ability to deal quickly and accurately with quantitative information and verify the correctness of actions. Preferred Experience in social media, desktop publishing, Adobe InDesign, virtual conferencing, G Suite, and Microsoft Suite.
