Description

Leads and performs a full range of activities required to conceptualize, organize, design, produce, and maintain strategic multimedia communications in a variety of formats (web-based, multifaceted print, graphic, presentation, and others) for clients to meet office, department, and public information requirements and to create and maintain favorable public relations for the school division.

Qualifications

Required

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree with courses in a field related to the assigned office, department, or clientele.
• Four (4) years of experience in multimedia communications, two (2) years of which shall have been in current web technology applications, desktop publishing, and multimedia design.
  • Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
• Knowledge of principles, concepts, and methods of applicable web technology, and its most effective and efficient utilization in support of the functions of the assigned office or department.
• Knowledge of web servers, browsers, network operating systems and/or web-enabled database technology.
• Knowledge of design principles, design concepts, and methods of applicable web technology; analytical ability.
• Ability to develop and maintain successful cooperative relationships.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

• Degree in graphic design, computer science, or information systems.
• Dreamweaver experience.

Salary Range

$84,552 - $143,880
