The College of Education & Human Development (CEHD) is seeking to hire a Sponsor Funded - Project Coordinator for the Dean's Office at Georgia State University. This position serves as a primary point of contact between program faculty and school district partners to facilitate recruitment, programming, and/or professional development, as well as financial and grant reporting activities for the partners.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

Serve as a primary point of contact between program faculty and school district partners to facilitate recruitment, programming, and/or professional development, as well as financial and grant reporting activities for the partners. This individual will also serve as the primary coordinator for the Academy for Future Teachers and Leaders working with school districts, designing programming, and working directly with students and instructors.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:



  • Collaborate with Business Manager, Project Director and PIs to request, process and maintain project subaward documentation and materials for partner districts and Institutions of Higher Education (IHEs).
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts in partner school districts, partner IHEs, and professional organizations in order to accomplish the related goals/objectives of the grant.
  • Completing administrative tasks related to partner school districts, partner IHEs, and/or CTAE management as determined by the Project Director or Pl.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



SPONSOR FUNDED:

***This is a regular, full-time position which involves on-campus and online duties, with job continuation dependent upon grant funding.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience; or a High School diploma or GED and six years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.


Preferred Requirements:



  • Experience in P12 settings
  • Experience with STEM programming
  • Experience with planning events and/or educational outreach
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Great organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
