Description
The Performance Excellence Group Analyst reports to a Senior Manager in the Performance Excellence Group and has responsibility for helping to develop and drive operational excellence across the enterprise. The Performance Excellence Group is an in-house consultancy focused on strategy and operations directly supporting the Executive Committee. Responsibilities and analysis may involve working with a variety of business work groups including operations, sales, service, procurement, engineering, product management, finance, and human resources. The position is an informal leadership pipeline for future leaders within Mirion's business units. This position will be asked to engage on a global and/or corporate level. Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Power BI, Power Automate, and other analytics tools to compile, analyze, and visualize data to inform decisions and support strategic project execution across global operations.
- Use technical data skills and a foundational understanding of manufacturing to address operational challenges, drive efficiency, and build a culture of continuous improvement.
- Employ advanced data analysis and visualization techniques to make informed recommendations and support key strategic decisions across supply chain and global project initiatives.
- Leverage data to identify and implement transformative initiatives, using operational and financial insights to drive efficiency and long-term business success.
- Translate as-is business states into digestible documentation, using project management skills, data insights, and business process knowledge to integrate solutions into practice.
- Operate effectively in dynamic, evolving conditions by creating data-driven frameworks and processes to provide structure and clarity.
- Build strong relationships across levels, using data insights to support effective communication, alignment, and goal achievement.
- Act as the company's change agent and systematically drive the use of business excellence tools throughout Mirion sites to achieve targets in business growth, customer experience, cash flow and productivity.
- Participate in an Integration Management Office supporting execution of investment thesis for recently acquired companies.
- May participate in evaluation of acquisition targets and deployment of Mirion Business System at recently acquired companies.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge, experience, or training in Lean techniques and proficient in process auditing.
- Possess a continuous process improvement mindset with the ability to effectively lead and manage change.
- Ability to coach and facilitate teams.
- Experience and comfort working with data from a variety of sources.
- Strong financial and statistics acumen is required.
- The ability to translate data into meaningful planning information for Finance, Sales and Operations teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and decision-making ability.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-4 years in data-centric roles with a proven ability to apply technical expertise in business contexts, preferably in process improvement or operational roles within Manufacturing, Quality, or Supply Chain.
- Strong preference for experience leveraging data analytics tools and techniques to inform strategic initiatives.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Power BI and Power Automate; SQL knowledge is a plus.
**This Position is Remote, East Coast Preferred**
