We are looking for a Network Services Platform (NSP) Automation Solution Architect to provide professional services to Nokia's customer base. The candidate in this role will be required to work in a consultative manner managing customer needs and solution requirements working directly with customers, project managers, sales engineers, business development, commercial and technical teams to deliver automation projects.

As a NSP Automation Solution Architect you will:

* Engage with Sales Engineers, Business Development, regional account teams and Project Managers to understand the overall project intent, goals and scope.
* Conduct needs analysis workshops with customers to gain in-depth details of business needs, specific use cases and expected project outcomes.
* Document established understanding of the project goals and requirements; and share the understanding between customer and project teams.
* Be a hands-on professional validating the requirements in labs, or researching network equipment to understand their features, functions and capabilities. Be prepared to "roll up your sleeves " to setup a lab necessary for your work.
* Analyze business, technical requirements to design and automation solution based on NSP Automation framework documenting the results either in a solution proposal or high-level design documents.
* Validate the solution with the design and testing teams.
* Keep connected with product " services unit product managers to understand product and service roadmap and directions; stay informed about the latest product features and service offerings.
* Keep regular contact with product teams and suggest strategies, initiatives, and remedies for existing use cases, new products or product features .
* Work with technical and commercial teams to outline project solution (solution architecture), suggest product components and service offerings to deliver on the project - strive to propose and design a viable solution that will yield a return on investment for the business unit.
* Assist sales, accounts, and commercial teams in drafting the statement of work or solution proposals for a commercial offer of the proposed solution.
* Provide direction, assistance and answer questions to customers and Nokia project delivery teams; ensure project scope is maintained, and solution implemented.
* Serve as a liaison for cross-business unit customer projects.

The successful candidate will have strong technical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills as well as being energetic, results-oriented and will have knowledge and experience with some or all the following areas:
* Experience conducting customer needs and requirements gathering workshops and interviews. Knowledge of the customer needs analysis frameworks like "Jobs-To-Be-Done" and/or "Business Communications and Influence" is an asset
* Proven ability to transform customer needs and requirements into successful solution offerings and software specifications
* Comprehensive understanding and experience with IP/Optical networking, OSS, and SDN technologies and business, to be able to lead technical and business discussions with internal and customers experts. Nokia Service Router Certification Level II+ or Cisco CCNA is an asset
* Knowledge of the telecommunications market, and network operations for the purpose of ideating automation solutions with Nokia customers
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with development teams, sales, account teams and program owners
* Software development experience in an agile environment
