The Chief of Staff charter will center on providing high-impact support and partnership to the LSEPS President. With the business navigating significant M&A activities and complex internal strategic priorities, this position requires a proactive approach to bridging insights across internal operations and external initiatives. By closely observing and assessing projects, both within the organization and in the market, the COS will serve as strategic support to leadership, providing timely updates, identifying risks and opportunities, and offering actionable recommendations. Beyond strategic alignment, the COS will execute on tasks of any scale-whether driving high-stakes initiatives and market analyses or handling operational details to alleviate administrative demands.

In this capacity, the COS will serve as a central conduit for information flow, ensuring that strategic feedback, research, and operational insights are effectively translated into clear guidance for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Executive & Cross-Functional Support



  • Assist in executive meetings, agenda setting, project execution, and preparing strategic updates for leadership.
  • Act as a thought partner to the President of Datavant's LSEPS business, supporting vision alignment, external meetings, and ad hoc initiatives.
  • Oversee cross-functional deliverables, translating priorities into actionable tasks and ensuring high-quality execution.


Strategic Planning & Performance Management



  • Monitor business metrics, track goals, and align company performance with strategic initiatives.
  • Operate with a strong understanding of our customer's needs and provide actionable insights through data synthesis, financial modeling, and market analysis to support decision-making and roadmap development.


What You Bring to the Table:



  • You have 5+ years of experience in tech startups, management consulting or investment banking, including multiple years in leadership
  • Excellent analytical skills including advanced modeling (e.g., Support development of financial models, market analyses and scenario planning)
  • Polished communicator who can distill complex strategy into a crisp narrative
  • You are expert at strategy and pulling the thread for cross functional stakeholders to execute on groundbreaking initiatives
  • You have high agency and are comfortable with ambiguity - if you don't have the answer, you're excited to figure it out
  • You believe in creating sustainable process and "leaving things better than you found them"
  • You are detail oriented and hold yourself and others to a high standard
  • You can both "lead" and "do"
  • You are ambitious, scrappy, tenacious, and you get things done with a "no job too small" mentality
  • You are comfortable making hard decisions and move quickly

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated salary range for this role is $125,000-$165,000.
