Overview

The HR Analyst supports LifeLong Medical Care's mission by assisting with the implementation of Paycom, automating HR processes, and developing standardized workflows and SOPs. This role focuses on process improvement, data accuracy, and system optimization to streamline HR operations. The HR Analyst will work closely with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies, document processes, and ensure the successful adoption of HR systems and policies across the organization.

This is a full time, exempt, benefit eligible position in Berkeley, CA.

LifeLong Medical Care is a multi-site, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with a rich history of providing innovative healthcare and social services to a wonderfully diverse patient community. Benefits

Compensation: $75,000 - 85,000/year. We offer excellent benefits including: medical, dental, vision (including dependent and domestic partner coverage), generous leave benefits including nine paid holidays, Flexible Spending Accounts, 403(b) retirement savings plan.

Responsibilities

Paycom Implementation and Process Optimization

    • Support the implementation and optimization of the Paycom HRIS platform.
    • Troubleshoot system issues, identify process inefficiencies, and recommend solutions.
    • Collaborate with HR leadership to streamline HR workflows and automate repetitive tasks.
    • Develop and maintain system documentation, ensuring accuracy and clarity for users.

Data Accuracy and Reporting

    • Perform data audits to ensure Paycom and HR system accuracy.
    • Generate reports and dashboards to analyze trends, identify discrepancies, and support data-driven decisions.

Workflow and SOP Development

    • Document and maintain clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for HR processes.
    • Work with stakeholders to ensure workflows align with organizational goals and compliance standards.
    • Create easy-to-follow process maps and guides to facilitate consistent HR practices.

Project Management and Collaboration

    • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing HR-related projects, ensuring deliverables are met on time.
    • Monitor project progress, gather updates, and communicate status to leadership.
    • Act as a liaison between HR, IT, and other departments to ensure successful collaboration on system changes and initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Experience with HRIS platforms (Paycom preferred).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex processes clearly and concisely.
  • Proven experience in documenting workflows and developing SOPs.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and workflow tools; experience with process automation platforms a plus (e.g., Power Automate).
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on identifying inefficiencies and improving processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Education and Required Credentials

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, business, human resources, psychology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in HRIS implementation, workflow documentation, SOP development, or HR process optimization.
