Description

Summary of Position/Purpose:

The Accounts Receivable Billing Clerk is responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, preparing invoices, and ensuring accurate financial records. This role involves a combination of administrative and financial tasks to support the company's billing and collections processes.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:



  • Work with various teams including cash posting and AR team regarding processing and posting incoming payments, verify and post receipts, and ensure compliance with financial policies.
  • Generate and send out invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or billing inquiries from customers.
  • Track accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports detailing the status of accounts receivable.
  • Assist with other AR related projects as needed

Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:



  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk, Billing Specialist, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), and experience with accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities.

  • Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations
