SUMMARY: The Kraft Group is looking for intellectually curious, driven college/university graduates with a deep passion for investing that will thrive within a small family office structure. We are seeking analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate individuals with 1+ years of work experience to join our growing organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  1. Assist Investment Team in investment performance reporting process.
  2. Review and closely monitor investment partnership accounting and performance data.
  3. Collaborate with Tax Team and assist in timely recording and entering all transactions and valuations associated with family investments as well as reconciling statements issued by fund managers.
  4. Work closely with Investment Team to source, identify and evaluate potential investments across asset classes and direct investments.
  5. Support department wide initiatives to develop and manage investment reporting and risk management tools.
  6. Assist in workflow improvements for external and internal stakeholders. Automate, document, and find best practices on existing processes.
  7. Special ad hoc projects and assignments as business dictates.



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • No direct supervisory responsibilities.



SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or other business-related field
  • 1+ years of investment or finance experience, including internships
  • Previous work experience at a family office or institutional investor is preferred.
  • Proficient in the language of finance, private equity/venture capital, hedged funds, startups, security analysis, consulting, etc.
  • Knowledge in fund accounting and general ledger accounting.
  • Experience using investment partnership software platforms Caissa/Burgiss/MSCI and Allvue is preferred.
  • Self-starter with strong qualitative and quantitative research skills.
  • Advanced communication and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and on a small 3-person investment team.
  • Must have attention to detail and focused concentration
  • Must be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently
  • Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness
