Description

The Senior IT Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining applications using a variety of technologies like Informatica, shell scripting, SQL and ETL to support multiple lines of Business and IT initiatives. This position is responsible for technical analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of IT solutions to support the claims product team while leading onshore and offshore teams. This position combines the role of data analyst, developer, consultant, troubleshooter, extract, transform and load (ETL).

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field
  • 7 years of work experience beyond degree (ex. 11 years of experience without a bachelor's degree required)
  • EDI claims knowledge 835/ 837, 276/277, EOB/eEOB etc. required
  • Proficiency is SQL and Oracle PL/SQL is required
  • Knowledge of Mulesoft environment required
  • Strong data analysis skills required
  • Experience working in an agile/scrum environment required

This position is a Remote role. The employee must be located in any state in which Medica is an employer and will work remotely 100% of the time.

The full salary range for this position is $96,000 -$164,500. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for incentive plan compensation in addition to base salary.
