Staff Research Associate Quantitative Bioscience Institute Full Time 83025BR Job Summary The lab is hiring for a Staff Research Associate 3 to conduct innovative research to generate and characterize genetically engineered cell lines for autism, primate evolution, ciliopathy, and pediatric sarcoma studies. Applies advanced techniques like proteomics, gene editing, and cell culture to investigate molecular mechanisms and their broader implications. Additionally, manages lab operations, including organizing protocols, maintaining compliance, training staff, and overseeing resources. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $30.89 - $49.68 (Hourly Rate).
