The Pharmacy Buyer provides the timely and cost-effective purchase and distribution of pharmaceuticals and related supplies to fulfill the needs of the JHACH hospital pharmacy. Contributes to department goals by providing adequate levels of drugs and supplies for patient care while working within the established drug budget. Along with other members of the Pharmacy staff, is responsible for providing medications and supplies to meet the high standards of patient care provided by JHACH.

Requirements:




  • A minimum of a High School diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievement.
  • Current CPhT certification
  • Current Florida registration as a pharmacy technician
  • Three or more years in pharmacy business operations or pharmacy purchasing or billing
  • Strong technical skills in analyzing and reporting data.

Salary Range: Minimum 22.34 per visit - Maximum 35.75 per visit. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
