POSITION SUMMARY:

The Music Therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating group and individual music therapy sessions to meet the needs of patients in diverse medical settings, making recommendations for policy development, and participating in program planning. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to support the plan of care.

QUALIFICATIONS:




  • Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy
  • Board Certified or will become Board Certified within one year of employment
  • Meets all educational, musical, clinical, and ethical competencies outlined by the American Music Therapy Association
  • Thorough knowledge of Child Development and the ability to assess with visual and auditory acuity and respond effectively to the individual, age specific needs with high quality music therapy intervention
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Current infant, child, and adult CPR and AED training, AHA



Salary Range: Minimum 24.58 per hour - Maximum 39.33 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
