CMMS Application Support Analyst -Full time Detroit Campus

  • Conducts business requirements reviews and independently formulates logical statements of business requirements
  • . May participate in joint application development sessions.
  • Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties.
  • May make suggestions for problem solutions or software enhancements.
  • Partners with business process experts to learn and understand problems with software.
  • May perform as a business analyst.
  • Provides ongoing operational and technical support for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) application and provides technical oversight of applicable reporting systems and processes.
  • The position has responsibility for continuous improvement and development, data query and validation, reporting functions, technical writing including procedures and workflows, and operational training on applications associated with CMMS operations.
  • Routinely interacts and collaborates with multiple departments including Clinical Engineering, Plant Operations, Culinary, various IT departments, project management, and operations personnel in support of the CMMS technology and data management.
  • Works closely with leadership to ensure continuous improvement and innovation in order to maximize utilization of system capabilities.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:



  • Bachelors degree.
  • Five (5) years applicable work experience.
  • Previous application and database support experience.
  • MS Excel/Access/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook/Visio. SQL experience, preferred.
  • Experience with CMMS, preferred.
  • Able to communicate in a professional, courteous and effective manner (written and verbal).
  • Able to problem solve and trouble shoot application matters in a fast paced environment.
  • Able to develop and maintain strong working relationships with key clients, vendors and staff.
  • Able to lead and/or participate in task groups to define, develop, document, communicate, and implement process improvements and initiatives.
  • Understanding of desktop computer hardware and software configurations on a range of computing platforms including desktops, laptops, tablets, etc.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures as they relate to operating systems, and networking.
  • Organized and safety conscious.
  • This position will support On Core Clinical Trials Management System utilization with legacy Ascension sites for both oncology and non-oncology research teams.
  • Previous clinical trial experience required.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
