The Fixed Income ETF Portfolio Management team is part of the broader Global Fixed Income group and is responsible for the oversight, implementation and management of $9 billion of ETF assets across passive and active portfolios. This individual will work closely with fixed income sector teams, technology/engineering, product development, and distribution, and will play a key role in the growth and development of the fixed income ETF range.

Principal responsibilities include:



  • Develop knowledge - gain understanding of fixed income markets, macro market concepts, and the investment management industry, while developing fixed income ETF portfolio management specialization
  • Portfolio management - work alongside the Portfolio Managers to cover daily ETF deliverables and help oversee portfolio risk positioning, cash positioning, and compliance monitoring
  • Primary market - facilitate primary market creation and redemption activity across the ETFs, including portfolio optimization, trade construction, and communication with stakeholders
  • Enhance ETF platform and process - collaborate in a team environment with engineers/strats, portfolio managers and contribute to the enhancement of our fixed income ETF infrastructure
  • Product support - act as liaison between distribution channels and portfolio managers; assist in responding to queries from sales, Requests for Proposals, provide internal training opportunities
  • Develop relationships - collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the ETF ecosystem, including APs and market makers, custodian, capital markets, operations, and sales


Qualifications and Experience



  • Basic knowledge of, and passion for, the asset management business, and capital markets; prior Fixed Income and/or ETF experiences is a plus
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, and excellent attention to detail and follow-through
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Build trust and confidence of colleagues, strengthen relationships through dialog and interactions, and collaborate well with others internally to deliver platform success
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with quantitative portfolio construction / optimization is a plus
  • Experience in programming is a plus (Python)
  • Experience with Bloomberg is a plus
  • Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint and Word)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • CFA or work toward CFA is a plus

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$170000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
