Position Title: Electrician Maintenance Technician
Wage: $22.00-$40.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-4:3-pm (Mon-Fri) with some overtime. QPS Employment Group has a great Electrician Maintenance Technician position available at a company in St. Louis, MO. This is a 1st shift, direct hire position. Electrician Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Remove and install retaining rings with induction heating. - Remove, clean, and install field coils. - Rewedge the Generator Stator. - Repair the End Windings. - Stator bar replacement. - Clean, red-eye, and paint. - High Voltage Bushing and Standoff Bushing replacement. - Core Iron repair/replacement. - Installation of 2-piece clips. - Experienced Winder specializing in precision repair and maintenance of generator fields and electrical generating equipment. - Dedicated to maintaining exacting standards, reducing downtime, and maximizing equipment longevity in power generation operations. Electrician Maintenance Technician Requirements: - High School Diploma/GED/Apprenticeship classes or trade school. - Minimum 3 years' experience. - Must be willing to travel a minimum of 50%, including internationally. - Able to pass a pulmonary function test & wear a respirator. - Good visual and auditory acuity. - Knowledge of various tying techniques, wedging, bar and coil installation; painting techniques, brazing, taping, insulating, and installing 2-piece clips. - Ability to quickly grasp or manipulate objects for extended periods of time. - Good oral and written communication skills. - Proven expertise in rewinding, insulation, and assembly of high-performance systems, ensuring optimal efficiency and reliability. korea.willingham@qpsemployment.com IND999 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
