GCBHS has an immediate opening for a Residential Specialist to work at our Kemper House transitional living facility in East Walnut Hills, Cincinnati. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking for a f lexible work schedule and experience with Mental Health Services!

Kemper House is a 15 bed facility which runs 24 hours a day, 365 days per year and is a halfway house for mental health consumers. We are currently seeking dependable employees who are open to working PRN 1st shift, 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekend hours.

Responsibilities:
- Provides residential coverage and management of facility.
- Assist and support development, implementation and facilitation of recovery-based programming including individual and group services.
- Provides crisis intervention, role modeling and limit setting.
- Provides services to clients: medication training; individual goal plan implementation; independent living skills training; personal care training; personal and interpersonal skills development; program orientation; general supervision. - Assist in facilitating client meetings, activities and organized groups.
- Assist in facilitating and support of recovery modeled services including WMR (Wellness Management and Recovery), SAMI best practices and the organizations recovery based initiatives.
- Participates in day-to-day operation of the program: menu planning and meal preparation; housekeeping; grounds keeping; facility management; and safety and security systems as necessary.
- Maintains inventory, storage and proper use and care of organization supplies, equipment, furnishings, and furniture.

Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- Two years of college in a human services field or equivalent combination of education and experience in a human services organization, preferred.
- Familiarity with mental health population.
- Good communication and organizational skills, basic computer knowledge, and good problem-solving skills.
