Position: Temporary Program Coordinator
Hours: This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week/ 8:30am-5pm / M-F)
Pay: $27.00 per hour
Campus: Evanston
Approximate start date: 2/10/2025
Approximate end date: 6/13/2025

Northwestern University is seeking a temporary full-time Program Coordinator for the Evanston campus.

Temporary Job Description:

Administration:

  • Maintains day to day operations of social science graduate program, including admissions, matriculation, course enrollment, teaching assignments, student milestone processing, appointment letters.
  • Maintains program databases (Smartsheet, CAESAR, COGNOS, GSTS)

Events:

  • Collaborates with staff, faculty, and students to host graduate student events
  • Contributes to recruitment and pre-matriculation events

Student Support:

  • Advises students regarding admissions, academic, career and development matters.
  • Resolves administrative issues (RAS forms, stipends, monitors fellowships, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Science/Political Science/Liberal Arts
  • Previous work experience at Northwestern University
