What You Will Do

Trimble is the leading content provider for the MEP industry worldwide, offering solutions across North America, Europe, and the U.K. In North America, we focus on syndicating manufacturer pricing & product data, rich e-commerce content, and 3D model data to MEP Distributors and contractors for use in their business systems. In addition, we leverage that content to connect the supply chain and enable digital procurement workflows through the growing Supplier Xchange platform and user network.

Measures of success

In this role, you will be responsible for growing current customer accounts and targeting new prospects. The Supply Chain Product Sales Account Executive will be responsible for engaging with Mechanical, Electrical, & Plumbing (MEP) Contractors to share the benefits that Trimble's content & supply chain services deliver.

The Supply Chain Product Sales Account Executive will be responsible for collaborating with our New Logo & Customer Account Executives to discover customer needs, uncover pain points and demonstrate how Trimble's digital procurement solution can address their critical business needs. You will help the customer or prospect end to end through their buying process, while working collaboratively with our Account Sales Executives and Sales Engineers.

  • Collaborate with our Account Sales Executives in finding, researching, developing, and closing leads/prospects for "Procurement MEP", a subscription product in which you specialize.

  • Communicating with prospective customers by uncovering their needs and identifying sales opportunities as it relates to our products, specifically Procurement MEP.

  • Keeping up with product information and enhancements as well as relevant industry updates through collaboration with our product marketing teams.

  • Building opportunities and pipeline for Procurement MEP through collaboration with the Account Sales Executives

  • Collaborate and assist in research, development, and maintenance of long and short-range sales and territory plans

  • Ability to deliver a compelling level one demonstration of the Procurement MEP solution to prospective customers

  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets (quota)

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • 5+ years of experience successfully selling SaaS solutions

  • Specialization and prior experience in the MEP (manufacturer/distributor/contractor) supply chain and/or SaaS sales within the construction industry

  • A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding an annual quota

  • Exemplary presentation and communication across all levels of an organization.

  • Advanced selling capability that showcases your commitment to strategy, customer relations, negotiation and ability to close.

  • Proficient in Salesforce CRM and Google Suite products.

  • Excellent negotiating and closing skills with customers/prospects as well as with internal resources

  • Willingness and ability to travel within the United States and/or Canada up to 50% of the time with an average of +/- 20%.

Salary+variable 180k OTE +/-

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
