The Credit Modernization Product Owner provides day-to-day oversight of a scrum team within a given value stream or product stack, ensuring a continuous flow of work by engaging with Product Managers to prioritize and sequence the work agile teams will take on. This position partners with IT Delivery Leadership to determine the ideal delivery strategy and solution definition. Duties and Responsibilities: * Owns the creation, refinement and prioritization of the user story backlog containing work ready for the scrum team. * Prioritizes user story backlog to support highest value work first, including defects, tech debt and new development. * Confirms MMP/MVP priorities, consults on priority and sequence of work to be executed based on ability to deliver. * Fosters a continuous flow of work in and through the agile teams, ensures teams are focused on the highest priorities, addresses delivery risks and blockers. * Monitors agile team demand and capacity. * Establishes story acceptance criteria and ensures work meets definition of done. * Conducts initial story card mapping and identifies cross-team dependencies needed. * Engages with dependent partners (both internal and external) to assess timing for deliverables to be completed. * Provide clarification and context to the development team. * Facilitates system demonstrations. * Escalates issues to Product Managers for resolution. * Represent the customer and business goals while working with technology partners to deliver products. * Manage the product lifecycle from requirements gathering through production and release. * Deliver upon business scope and requirements defined at the Feature level. * Provide transparency to business and technology leadership on project status and product development issues. * Manage risk associated with delivering applications and specific application features. * Works with Product Leaders and stakeholders to understand long-term roadmaps and OKRs the teams need to achieve. * Supports weekly and monthly status reporting efforts. * Serves as first point of escalation and addresses delivery risks, blockers, escalating to the Product and/or Program Director as needed. * Perform other duties as assigned. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree * 7 years of Product Management or project delivery experience in Consumer or Business and Commercial Banking * Previous experience leading high-performing agile teams Preferred Qualifications: * 7+ years of professional experience in software development in a business or technical capacity, preferably with Salesforce / Financial Services Cloud * Experience overseeing development or Agile programs * Expert in the management of Agile projects including scrum * Experience as a Scrum Master, Business Systems Analyst, Product Owner, or Chief Agilist * Demonstrated interest and success in improving Agile execution * Exceptional analytical abilities, critical thinking, and creative problem solving * Proven written and oral communication skills including senior leadership presentation * Experience with the application of program execution metrics as well as project management approaches and tools * Experience using Agile methods for custom hardware or embedded software development * Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization * Certification as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Scaled Agile Framework *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $80.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
