LOCATION OF (1) POSITION(S) TO BE FILLED: DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE AND INSURANCE, FIRE PREVENTION DIVISION, BEDFORD COUNTY Qualifications Education and Experience: Associate degree and one year of experience in an administrative role within the fire service, first responder, or safety industry. Substitute Experience for Education: Professional experience in an administrative role within the fire service, first responder, or safety industry may substitute for the associate's degree on a year-for-year basis up to two years. NSQs: A valid Tennessee vehicle operator's license will be required for employment in this classification. Overview Under general supervision, is responsible for fire service accreditation and certification work of average to complex difficulty; and performs related work as required. An employee in this class is responsible for overseeing accreditation and certification related to the fire service for the state of Tennessee. Responsibilities
