Project Manager

Where You'll Work

This position is based in our Lenexa, Kansas office. We leverage a hybrid working model working three days in the office, two days optional remote work.

What You'll Do

• 
  

  Manage projects from initiation to close, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and satisfactorily

  
  

• 
  

  Apply appropriate methodology to manage progress, scope, schedule, and budget on all assigned projects

  
  

• 
  

  Conduct iterative agile/scrum activities and meetings, including sprint planning, and retrospectives to incorporate lessons learned into future projects and sprint reviews

  
  

• 
  

  Prepare regular reports on project status and progress to keep stakeholders informed

  
  

• 
  

  Build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other CHA departments to achieve project objectives and serve as a trusted business partner

  
  

• 
  

  Facilitate requirements gathering and assist with creation of customer project outcomes

  
  

• 
  

  Perform resource planning activities to ensure resource needs are aligned with project scope and schedule

  
  

• 
  

  Assign tasks to team members, set deadlines, and establish communications channels to ensure that everyone is aware of their roles and responsibilities

  
  

• 
  

  Identify and resolve issues and conflicts that arise throughout the project

  
  

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying:

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree is preferred

  
  

• 
  

  PMP, Lean, or similar certification is highly preferred

  
  

• 
  

  7+ years of project management experience with an emphasis on information technology

  
  

• 
  

  5+ years of experience using project management tools (Azure DevOps, Trello, etc.) to drive productive project teams

  
  

• 
  

  Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for making connections between ideas and people

  
  

• 
  

  Excellent communication skills with the ability to prepare and present information through many mediums
