Career growth and development Diverse and collaborative working environment Affordable and comprehensive benefits package POSITION SUMMARY: A Psychiatric Rehabilitation Therapist (RT) works directly with patients diagnosed with a mental health disorder. RTs are responsible for the assessment, behavioral support, crisis intervention, and advocacy of a caseload of approximately 15-17 and all accompanying paperwork. The RT provides on-site services in developing social skills, coping skills, daily living skills, casework advocacy and case management. These services are conducted within a group setting and within the community. Must be comfortable working within a team environment. JOB REQUIREMENTS Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1. Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelors degree in Psychology, Mental Health, or closely related field and less than six months previous experience. 2. Work requires valid driver's license with 2 or less points. 3. Work requires the analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles. 4. Work requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations. Salary Range: Minimum 22.66 per hour - Maximum 37.41 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
