As the Patient Accessibility Program Manager, you'll:





  • Be responsible for ensuring the organization's adherence to Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and discrimination elements of Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act.





  • Serve as the lead for the administrative and operational aspects of the patient accessibility compliance program.





  • Conduct facility audits, develop policies and procedures and deliver appropriate training to staff to ensure compliance with the Rehabilitation and the Affordable Care Acts and other applicable laws and regulations.





  • Track compliance with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and other laws and regulations relating to individuals with disabilities.





  • Develop and facilitate an operational system for tracking and delivering on patient accommodation needs.





  • Manage and respond to patient grievances related to accessibility concerns.





What you'll bring:





  • 8+ years' experience in healthcare administration, or the area of disability and accessibility services and ADA/504 compliance.





  • 2+ years of project management experience.





  • Master's degree in health administration or disability/accessibility services. Or law degree.





  • Experience with employees, patients, and visitors with disabilities.





  • Knowledge of ADA/504/1557 and all other disability and accessibility laws, and regulations and best practices, pertaining to employees, patients and visitors preferably in a healthcare environment.





  • In-depth knowledge of key legislation (Rehab Act, ADA, state regulations) related to disability and of the functional impact of various disabling conditions.




About us:

Salary Range: Minimum 43.50 per hour - Maximum 69.60 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
