Job Description
The RN Coordinator contributes to the department's operational excellence by ensuring the nursing professionals deliver quality care that is evidence based practice and in accordance with established policies, procedures, and the Synergy Professional Practice Model. The position contributes to excellence through professional nursing practice and facilitation of team member development and learning of patients and families. In collaboration with the Clinical Manager, the RN Coordinator is the co-owner of the orientation program and provides competency training and education to team members with a goal of improving patient outcomes and patient safety. The RN Coordinator provides relief to the emergency nurses as needed and is assigned direct patient care as necessary. The position is responsible for staff education and feedback based on documentation and observations. The RN Coordinator is responsible for unit orientation and contributes to 90 day and annual performance evaluations of team members. Responsibilities
