Position Highlights The Arizona Student Unions is looking for talented Dining Services Attendants, Sr to join our team at Einstein Bros Bagels.

YOUR ROLE

This dining services position performs various duties necessary in the preparation of the service of food and provides quality customer service to students, faculty, staff, and guests. The DSA, Sr is a team lead who may tackle complex problems that require significant judgment and initiative. They are expected to independently propose solutions to problems for manager review, requiring innovation and creativity. Duties & Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inputs,
    receives, and puts away storeroom orders.
  • Prepares unit for opening,
    stocking, signs, cleanliness, and equipment.
  • Prepares
    market and food as needed.
  • Monitors food quality and completes product
    orders as required.
  • Ensures
    all areas are staffed, delegates job assignments.
  • Openly communicates with
    staff and supervisor.
  • Actively develops and supports a team-based focus
    within the Student Union.
  • Rings
    up orders accurately.
  • Reconcile regiser and verifies reports as required.
  • Greets
    and serves customers in a friendly, courteous manner.
  • Provides suggestions
    and input to supervisor. Actively solves problems wherever possible.
  • Assists with weekly inventory
    and works to control labor and food costs.
  • May work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.
  • Additional
    duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge
    of Food Pro or other food inventory programs.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of customers, coworkers and community members.
  • Ability to forecast service needs, and modify delivery
    information.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or
    equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of
    relevant experience required.
  • Must be available to work
    weekends, evenings, days, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in fast casual dining preferred.
