Under supervision, the incumbent will assist researchers in Down syndrome and Alzheimer's disease to explore the biology of these conditions and decipher underlying mechanisms. Make significant innovative contributions towards research goals. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for educating students, with special responsibility for training in immunostaining and morphological analysis including confocal microscopy. The incumbent must be able to perform SDS-PAGE and Western immunoblotting, ELISAs, RNA isolation and RT-qPCR, and help with general lab maintenance. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $66,441 - $106,839 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $31.82 - $51.17 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
