Responsibilities

We currently have a great opportunity available for a Developer/Analyst - SAP Basis. The primary SAP area of responsibility for this position will be basis administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing the maintenance of SAP systems, ensuring the security and stability of our SAP landscape. The Developer/Analyst, SAP will work with SAP Solution Manager, Web Dispatcher, ECC, Suite on HANA, Business Objects, SAP GRC, GTS, Netweaver/Fiori Portals and SAP PI solutions. The Developer/Analyst, SAP will work closely with other IT teams, SAP functional consultants, and stakeholders to support system integrations and project implementations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform core Basis tasks: Daily monitoring, client administration, jobs administration and transports administration.
2. Monitor work processes, system logs, short dumps, locks, disk space, etc.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP systems and coordinate with SAP support, when necessary.
4. Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to safeguard SAP systems.
5. Participate in the planning and execution of disaster recovery procedures.
6. Applying Support Package, add-ons, Kernel patch upgrade, TMS configuration and Transport administration (Transport strategy), maintaining of operation modes and profile parameters, background job management.
7. Knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows) in relation to SAP systems.
8. Troubleshoot complex SAP issues.
9. Perform other duties as needed.
10. Attend training as needed.

Travel Percentage: 10%

Physical Risk: Regular exposure to risk that may require alertness, but with minimal precautions.



Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree and 5-10 years required experience in SAP Basis Administration.
  • SAP certification in BASIS and Security administration is a plus

  • 2+ full life cycle SAP implementations preferred

  • Excellent communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of analysts, business users, vendors and technical resources throughout the organization.

  • Technical experience in the following SAP areas.

    • SAP Solution Manager, Web Dispatcher, ECC, Suite on HANA, Business Objects.

    • GRC, GTS, Netweaver/Fiori Portals and SAP PI solutions a plus

    • SAP Security Administration is a plus

    • Ability to work with limited supervision.

    • Ability to work independently and with global teams.

    • Solid work ethics and ability to use experience, judgment and skills to work effectively as both a member of a team and independently.

    • Self-starter able to develop initiatives, drive results and prioritize responsibilities.

    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

The salary range for this role is $120-$165K. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The total compensation package for this position also includes a choice of health care plan (medical, vision, and dental insurance), an annual incentive bonus, paid time off, parental leave, bereavement leave and a 401(K) for all eligible employees.
