The Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Executive Support Specialist 1 at the Rogue Valley Youth Correctional Facility (RVYCF). This role is crucial in providing high-level administrative support to the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facility. Key responsibilities include;

  • Confidential Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents, handling sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.

  • Data Management: Research, prepare, and record data for the RVYCF Management Team, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting to support decision-making processes.

  • Public Representation: Serve as a representative of OYA in daily interactions with the public, demonstrating professionalism and excellent communication skills.

How To Qualify:

Three years of clerical/secretarial experience which included:

  • one year at a full performance level performing typing, word processing, or other generating of documents; and

  • lead work responsibility or coordination of office procedures.

Courses or training in Office Occupations or Office Technology may be substituted for up to one year of the clerical/secretarial experience.

No substitution will be made for the one year at the full performance level.
