Infor are seeking a visionary Chief Learning Officer (CLO) to drive organizational transformation through innovative learning strategies. This executive-level position will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive learning solutions across multiple stakeholder groups including employees, services, partners, and customers.
The ideal candidate will be a transformational leader who can combine strategic thinking with practical execution, driving meaningful change, at scale, through innovative learning approaches while delivering measurable business results. They will combine deep expertise in modern learning methodologies with a strong business acumen.
Day in The Life Typically Includes:
Strategic Leadership & Culture
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive learning strategy aligned with business objectives, encompassing internal excellence, partner enablement, and customer success; serving as a key member of the executive team.
  • Create and nurture a culture of continuous learning and development across the organization; leading the transformation of learning approaches.
Learning Program Development & Innovation
  • Design and implement persona-based learning journeys tailored to different stakeholder groups, driving the adoption of innovative technologies and methodologies.
  • Lead the development of scalable, multi-modal learning content and experiences that drives engagement and retention; establishing metrics and analytics frameworks to measure learning effectiveness and impact on business outcomes.
Business Operations & P&L Management
  • Own and grow the education P&L, including revenue targets, cost management, and resource allocation, developing strategic partnerships with technology providers, content creators, and learning solution vendors.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team of learning professionals, instructional designers, and program managers; creating sustainable business models for learning offerings across different customer segments.
Cross-functional Leadership & Influence
  • Partner with Product, Services, Sales, Customer Success, and HR teams to align learning initiatives with business needs; driving change management initiatives to support the adoption of new learning approaches.
  • Establish governance frameworks and advisory boards to ensure stakeholder alignment; building strong relationships with key business leaders to drive learning adoption and engagement.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Extensive senior leadership experience in learning and development within the software sector; having a proven track record of driving organizational transformation through learning initiatives.
  • Be a visionary leader with ability to inspire and drive change, having a strong executive presence and a highly collaborative approach.
  • Experience managing P&L and growing education business units, incorporating modern learning technologies, with success in building and scaling innovative learning programs.
  • Be a change management expert and strategic thinker, with a proven ability to drive organizational transformation, having the ability to influence at all levels in the organization.
  • Have grown education revenue and margin, having increased levels of engagement, demonstrated ROI and measurable business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with learning technologies including LMS, LXP, and adaptive learning platforms.
