Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
The Industrial Product Support Specialist will primarily provide in-depth technical support for the Industrial Business Area products to the North American and Canadian Industrial Sales and Service Channels, including direct and distribution channels, as well as Registered OEMs. The secondary focus will be on offering pre-sale product-focused application support to the same client base.
- Technical Support activities including, but not limited to providing in-depth application and technical support for the industrial business area while providing excellent customer service
- Adhere to client service level agreements
Interfacing with our client base to identify and document functional requirement specifications for applications utilizing our product portfolio - Creation of custom quotations
- Create and review technical bulletins, white papers and other documentation
- Assist and/or lead product-focused training activities
- Assist and/or participate in product introduction, phase in/out activities and other support functions.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed
- Associates Degree in Engineering or other related technical field of study or equivalent work experience
- Three or more years of direct experience with industrial weighing equipment
- Two years or more of technical support or technical training experience
- Specific experience in the areas of weighing systems, data collection, communications or process control is a plus.
- Solid verbal (English) communication skills in both small and large group settings
- Strong written communication skills in both short and long format documents
- Demonstrated success in participating in diverse team environments
- Sound analytical and technical troubleshooting abilities
- The motivation, adaptability and professional qualities to be able to work in an environment with a minimal amount of supervision and guidance
- Senior level requires extensive experience or expertise in multiple product-focused specializations.
