Job Summary

The US Public Sector Regional Sales Operations (RSO) Leader will work closely with the USPS Area Sales Ops Leader, USPS sales leadership, and cross-functional teams to lead operational excellence around pipeline, bookings, and revenue within Areas. The RSO will act as trusted business partners to the USPS Regional and District leaders to help execute the operational rhythm of business, strategize, and help execute around sales plays and programs that drive growth and efficiencies within the sales organization in their respective areas. The role requires both a strategic mindset and the ability to roll up your sleeves. The successful candidate will be passionate about solving problems and partnering across teams and organizations to drive change. You will be an expert in translating the field's needs and driving changes within.

The ideal candidate will reside in or near Washington, DC.

Job Requirements
  • Collaborate directly with the Sales Ops Leader and AVP for the business to define and operationalize the best-in-class Rhythm of the business cadences and scale across the SLED (State, Local & Education) Area at all levels of the org.
  • Be the Business Partner to the SLED regional and district leaders and functional leadership and responsible for driving operational excellence, forecast reviews, QBRs
  • Proactively provide insights to regional/district leadership on gaps and opportunities with the support of region/district Business Performance across all KPIs.
  • Devise actionable insights based on pipeline data, reporting, and conversion trends to help improve overall pipeline health.
  • Continuously monitor operational processes, performance metrics, and industry trends to identify emerging opportunities and risks to target.
  • Drive cadences such as close plans, deal reviews, and gap-to-close plans.
  • Partner with worldwide cross-functional teams to execute sales plays that are aligned to strategic priorities in the fiscal year and measure the ROI of sales plays and their impact on the pipeline.
  • Establish and provide regular guidance for sales teams on best practices for pipeline management and other key areas that contribute to overall pipeline health.
Education
  • 12+ years of experience within Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or similar functions, ideally with experience in the following:
  • Process improvement and design
  • Forecasting
  • Business analytics and insights
  • Pipeline Management
  • Experience within US State & Local as well as US Federal Sales operations a plus
  • Experience driving annual planning aspects such as goals, territory planning, segmentation, etc.
  • You demonstrate the ability to scale and equip the business, driving world-class operational execution, communicate big-picture opportunities, and make data-driven decisions. You have experience in driving the adoption of CRM platforms from a legacy environment to a modern CRM platform.
  • You take a proactive, consultative approach, building trust consistently and quickly.
  • You have an enthusiastic "roll up your sleeves" mentality.
  • You work well under pressure, with a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to manage teams with deep analytical skills.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You are detail-oriented.
